"Jigga what!??" That is probably the reaction Jay Z has when reading the articles which have been littering the media recently. Is Jay Z bad for sports? Hell no. Jay Z is just taking play away from the super agents like Scott Boras and other elite sporting agents who have been reaping the benefits of an over-saturated market for the better part of 30 years.
Why is it a sin to go after the gold like Jigga has done? In modern day sports, scouting and player production has gotten so bad that mediocrity is rampant throughout most major sports. When mediocrity hits big market cityies like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, panic will ensue and soon general managers and owners are going to be throwing obscene amounts of money at big name talent. It would be straight up stupid for Jay Z not to use his marketing influence and popularity to continue to bank roll. The only people saying that the Jigga man is bad for sports are the ones who Jay would refer to as haters.-
